Thurs- I drove to the airport (2 hours away) with my mother in law, to pick up my sister in law. She was coming into town for the wedding on Fri. We shopped all day and had dreary, light rain all day. I love that kind of weather so that part was good. I also found a new shirt for the reception. That is not an easy task so it made me happy.
Fri- The wedding was in the morning at the Columbia River Temple. Thankfully we found a babysitter at the last minute so we didn't have to drag the kids(it is 1 1/2 hours away too). It turned out to be a longer day than expected so that was nice. It was a holiday so there was no school. The wedding couple looked good. Glad that part is over.
Sat- I did a little bit of hair and we had to be at the church for pictures at 4:30. It was hectic as expected. Why does it always turn out like that? The kids had so much fun at the reception, I bet you can imagine, they were running around the whole time. I ended up helping in the kitchen. Mostly to stay busy and because they needed help. I love to visit with people but was feeling a little anti social that night. Oh well we had a good time in the kitchen too. It is the last one in the family for a long time. Milo has lots of little siblings from his dad's second marriage but they are way off. Another thing that makes me happy!
Sun- We had a pretty chill day yesterday. We went to church and I was able to listen, not always the case. We had a great lesson in Sunday School. All about Jeremiah and the trials he went through. We talked about trials in general and I was definitely uplifted. Here is my favorite quote from the lesson, I want to read it daily-

Isn't that a great quote? I love how it says it will surface in every life in some form. I have always felt that to grow we need to learn how to move on and find a way to be positive. I know so much easier said that done. But the times I have done this in my life, it has made all the difference in the world.
Today I received my first Good Mail from Kristi!! Thanks Kristi!! I am so excited, I love both of these guys, Keith Urban and Josh Groban! I had a birthday last week and one this week so the cd's were on the list of things that needed to wait. What a pleasant treat! On a day that it was totally needed! I have read so many times that the day Good Mail comes it was needed more than ever. Today after 3:30 the kids were on edge, making me on edge. You know the feeling when it is just a domino effect and nothing seems to be getting better. What a sweet thing to do! I made it through dinner, bathtime and stories much better!
What is your theory on Good Mail? I think it is so awesome that through reading blogs we can be in tune to others we don't know and give them a lift. It has been said so much but I want to record it here for me, I feel the same way! I have had a couple packages ready to go but with the wedding I have been letting it slide. Not anymore, it made me so happy today that I want to share the love.

No it was my son's birthday on the 6th and today is my daughter's birthday. That is where all the birthday festivities come into play.
