Today, I've been blogging for 2 years. Not always consistent, not always happy, not always relevent to others but always, always worth it. Two years of my life, our family life, documented in word and photo. I think it's funny I started this on Halloween day. I would much rather be blogging that getting costumes ready that's for sure. Evident then.... and today, ha.Thanks for putting up with it family, knowing when the camera comes out there's a good chance you're ending up on the blog. I love when my kids ask if I'm doing something for my blog. They catch on so quick.
A big thanks to my blogging friends that I often dream of meeting as I galavant around the country with no agenda (Oh how I wish!). Thanks for your encouragement in so many areas, for sharing your inspirations, your solid examples as mothers and your sincere testimonies of the gospel. At different times, I've needed each of these in my life and I am grateful for each of you. And I love that all my family blogs now.
Here's to a mere 269 posts in two years and that many more down the road.
Oh.....Happy Halloween!!
I'm getting ready to attend my first Witch Party, put on by Marion (my mil). Eleven women dressed as witches, in public for lunch. I haven't donned a costume in 10 years? Maybe longer. Wish me luck, I dread costumes. Blogging material for sure.
And tonight is Round 3 of Halloween for the kids (Round 1- school, Round 2-church, Round 3- neighborhood) . Overload for me but definitely not for them. Again, more blogging material. I love having blogs lined up for the future.

Wow Melanie, Do you think I will ever make it to that point? This has been so great for me seeing my kids daily, cause even if you don't do a formal post I give you a looky see. Hopefully I will be closer before long. Aren't you guys moving to Vegas? Love you so MUCH!!!
That is the cutest birthday cupcake! I loved this post... it is cool to think that there are so many great examples to me that I only know through blogging. Just this morning I was going through one month of my archives and can't believe how much I have written. So worth it.
I am so with you on Halloween. My kids are bouncing off the walls and I am counting the minutes until it is O.V.E.R.
Hope you survive the 3 rounds of fun! I seriously want to see what witch costume you came up with. It's always stressful to me to think of costume ideas, but you always do a great job.

Happy 2 years. That's so awesome. Think of all the time we've spent blogging that would have been wasted otherwise! Haha
I love that my kids talk about blogging too. Malcolm always ask me if such and such is going to be on the blog. Ha!

Ya! 2 years!! Blogging the the best..I am thankful for the journal that I now have (and would not have otherwise), thankful for the friendships I have made, and just thankful for the therapy that writing things out has been for me!! Horray for blogging! Can't wait to see pictures of Halloween!
