2. Yesterday I was feeling sorry for myself. I was grumpy and whiny and it took most of the day (or all of it) to shake it off. I was supposed to go out of town and see Phantom with 'the girls' for my mother in law's birthday. Due to circumstances completely out of mine and Milo's control (work), I wasn't able to go. I wasn't mad at anyone or anything in particular, it was just an off day. , I've seen the play twice before so that's not what I missed most about the day. More than anything, I was let down because of not getting 'away'.4. Milo and I are going out tonight. Nothing big or exciting. Probably just dinner (cause there's nothing else to do here) but either way it's without kids and I think we'll both take the break. Nice, quiet dinner conversation. Perfect end to a long week. Thanks Marion!!
5. At 10 months, Reed is finally crawling. Today he was actually up on all fours to make it to the phone. He still does all sorts of crawls... forward on all fours, backward on all fours, a frontward army crawl and a serious combination of rolls to get where and what he wants. He also crawls himself backwards into a sitting position. Adorable.
6. My new glasses came in today. I have put of going to the eye doctor for a long time. It's just one of those appointments that I don't think about. Until I put on my old, stretched out glasses on that is. When Milo made his appointment, he made one for me too (thanks again!). I think I'm really going to like this pair of glasses. They have a bit more 'bling' that I've ever had on glasses (rhinestones along the top and bottom of the ear pieces) and I've never had a black pair but I think they are a good fit. What do you think?7. Oh just one more. I got the best deal on gas the other day. It was only $2.75 a gallon!! Can you even believe that's a steal? Well it is since not long ago we were well over $4 a gallon. I filled my very empty van for less, really less, than $50!! I left the gas station with a smile and had to call Milo. And tonight when we drove by, it was $2.66!

bling bling! Yeah!
So I screwed up the last comment! Oops. I love reading what your kids say and looking at their cute pictures. They are so entertaining! Keep up the posts!
Reed is so cute, what a perfect little baby!
I'm sorry you didn't get to see Phantom....things like that can be so frustrating, even when there was nothing you could have done to help it...it is just hard. Glad you got to go out with your husband, that is always nice!
I am so happy over the gas prices (although we are still a little above $3 a gallon...it is still better than the $5 we were paying in the summer....RIDICULOUS!!)
oH! And your glasses look GREAT!!
love your glasses.
What a bummer about phantom. I really wanted to go see it as well. But just to much going on. Hey maybe next time it comes we can go .
Love the glasses. Reed is too good of a baby- not fair. I'm SO excited gas is getting cheaper- woo hoo!!! Glad you and Milo escaped for a night. :)
Yeah Nathan! Soccer rocks!!! Love the fall leaves. I wanted to go to Red Rock to use my camera but I didn't want to go alone. Maybe next week........
Love your new glasses. I wish you were here to help me pick out some new ones. I know where you get your procrastination genes. I'm way overdue for an exam and new glasses...
Melanie-is that YOUR child asleep on the floor??? Just checking....love the bling glasses. Just to let you know, your son aka. pirate, made my day at the field trip. I love to see his imagination!
Love the glasses Mel! They look great! Bummer about Phantom...but at least you did get a little break for dinner with Milo! Reed sounds like an angel...I never had a baby like that! Hooray for a soccer team win! That is so cute they were chanting the score!
And Hooray gas is cheaper...that puts a smile on all of our faces!
You gas is soo cheap!! I am jealous.
Cute glasses. I need to go and get a new prescription. So sorry about phantom. That is a shame.
Does Reed often put his blanket over his head like that? That is so funny!
I would have been seriously bummed about missing on time away with the girls as well. Way to console yourself by doing something enjoyable for you.
Love the new glasses!
I'm so happy Nathan's Team won...what a great way to end the season. I love the new glasses. They are too cute. I'm dreading having to pick out my own new pair!!
Love the glasses! Hope you had a fun date night.
I love the soccer picture with the tinting of the sunset in the sky.
Your glasses look great. Did you get anti-reflective coating, because I think if I tried a spt in glasses I would get a big flash reflection. The dark frames look great with your beautiful dark hair.
Reed is so cute. I remember when you covered up his little head at church and his cute little nose was all sweaty.
Hooray that Nate won soccer! I bet he was so, so excited.
At first I was sad that you were going out and that the kids were going to get another babysitter. That might even be their favorite. Then I saw that it was Marion, and I was okay! So, thanks Marion! :)
And, I love love love your glasses. They look great! My mom told me the story and I'm glad you picked those ones.
