Photo Rewind

We've being doing good around here. I've been distracted from the computer with Milo home everyday. Not a bad thing. We've gone to the gym, I dejunked the boys room (way overdue!), we've both ran errands and so not much blogging has gone on. Can I just say having another adult around is great! I haven't taken the kids to school all week and today was the first day I picked them up. Of course, I'd rather him have a job but since we're still looking, I'll look at the positives. And waiting in pick up line only once this week is definitely one of them!

I've had some photos to post all week and just haven't gotten around to it. I

The kids were in love with the heart food I made on Valentine's Day. I mean really in love with it. They thought I was super cool and oh so smart. Thanks goes to red food coloring and sprinkles I found way back in the cupboard for the pancakes and a big thanks to 2Cleverblog and Jane for suggesting the Heart Twinkie idea. I didn't go to the work of a red berry drizzle but the kids scarfed these with the chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. Who knew they would love heart food so much? I'm thinking we have ourselves a new tradition. Well, when Valentine's Day in on a weekend that is!

I made the kids Valentine's this year and they turned out really cute. I've done it before and thanks to 2Cleverblog posting these cute ones from the magazine, Family Fun, I had a new idea that I had never done before. The kids had fun putting them together but after making enough for 3 classes, I was so over their cuteness. Almost 60 Valentine's later.... We made up sayings for the teeth and mustache and copied the one they had for the lips.

Have a very 'HAIRY' Valentine's Day!
Mr. Reed loved, loved this sucker! I had to take it away once he started to bite the stick so much it was becoming a choking hazard. He was not happy. I tried for a photo of the fit but they were all really blurry. From him writhing around on the floor and me laughing.

I 'CHEWS' you! Happy Valentine's Day!

Read my LIPS.....Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Reed's latest trick is he shows us one finger (his pointer, ha) when we ask how old he is. I'll say, 'Show me one' or 'How old are you' and he will raise his finger up and wait for all of us to clap and smile. He would not comply while the camera was out. This blurry shot is all I got!

I need blogger help too. Reed has become our resident computer pounder and with him typing, pounding away he's causing me some grief! When a blog has a pop up window for comments it maximizes to the whole screen and I have no idea how to fix this annoying comment problem. Help!

Mel, I just have to tell you how jealous I am of you. You are so creative (the valentine's) and you are SUCH a fun mom. I seriously write down all your cute ideas so that I can hopefully remember them when Jonas is a little older. You are also SO positive when you are faced with challenges. I look up to you so much and I am so glad that you are in our family! Love Ya!

Those valentines are soooo cute, Melanie. I'm going to remember that idea. I thought your comment that you were so over their cuteness three classes later was classic. Isn't that the truth? I could never be a factory.

Thanks for the fun lunch earlier. I appreciate you.

You are so fun--and on time (not kidding here)! At least you had your Valentines stuff on Valentine's Day! My kids had to wait until, oh, Wednesday to get their V-Day gifts! ;)

Those Valentine treats look great, I really should have done something fun for the kids.

I know what you mean about having Milo home to help with the errands and driving, I DID enjoy that aspect of Randy's Groove Buster status last year. I hate running kids around!

Reed is just too cute!

Love, love, love the valentines. You clever, patient mom you! I'm may be doing the twinkie heart tonight since I was such a loser on the actual valentine's day.

It is fun and easier to have 'him' around more... sometimes I have to remind myself that we aren't just on vacation.

I saw those valentine's somewhere, they are just too cute! They turned out great. The pancakes and twinkie dessert are so cute too. You were on top of things. I didn't even get anything for the boys this year, or for Matt. Ha!

Love the little one finger. I love this stage when they do it. Winston doesn't do it on demand, but after the fact, of course!
