We went to the temple tonight and came home to a very quiet, picked up house. Thank you awesome, amazing babysitter! I didn't look down the hall until after she left but she helped them hang this banner. What a sweet girl and such sweet kids. I've had two different sidewalk chalk drawings wishing me a Happy Mother's Day this week, they have been so excited for me to have a day. One at the front door and the other all over the driveway. Always spearheaded by Kat. She loves to draw my favorite animal (she drew the hugest giraffe that Reed kept calling a camel) and positive messages are her thing.
I'm so grateful they love me faults and all. I have so many yet every day, they look past them. I feel inadequate and under qualified much of the time but together we push on. I'm blessed to have these 4 sweet kids in my life and I love that they call me Mother. A countless, priceless, eternal blessing.
I also want to add, I love my....
mom. She is strong, loyal and giving.
daughter. She is creative, always happy and accepting of others.
sister. She is so supportive, funny and real (I love real).
mother in law. She is patient, kind and forgiving.
grandma. She is talented and precise.
sisters in law. They are smart, funny, understanding, are ALL tall and have great hair.
many aunts. They are loving, accepting, giving, helpful, creative, positive and humble.
girl cousins. They ROCK. They laugh with me (and at me, haha), support me, cry with me and we always have fun. I love them like sisters.
friends. What can I say? They're awesome too.
In short, I'm surrounded, loved unconditionally and supported by some amazing women. I surround, unconditionally love and support them back. I hope they know that they lift me. Every single day.

That's so sweet! I love it that you had a good babysitter who did a good job and helped the kids do something thoughtful, I didn't think babysitters did stuff like that anymore.

I had the boys make Cynthia a banner for her b-day, and two weeks later, she still has it up. She is so proud of that thing!
